Language Lab
Language Room is real platform to learn language for the student. It helps to develop reading, writing and besides that specially listening and speaking skills. It helps to improve, pronunciation of any language. The Indra Ganesan College of Education have different CDs, MP3, Cassettes regarding contents English Speaking, GK, Personality Development etc.
Mathematics Resource
The Mathematics Laboratory is a method of teaching whereby children in small groups work through an assignment/ task card , learn and discover mathematics for themselves. A mathematics laboratory is a place where we find a collection of games, puzzles, teaching aids and other materials for carrying out activities.
Physical Science
The Physical Science Laboratory is well designed, furnished, equipped and ventilated. There are provisions for water supply, disposal, electrical outlets and storage of materials. The laboratory consists of apparatus, instruments and chemicals pertaining to IX, X, XI and XII std., syllabus of Tamilnadu. The lab is well stocked to conduct various experiments in Physics and Chemistry. The student- teachers are trained in getting hands on experience in doing experiments as well as to acquire the skill of demonstration. They are also taught the skill of maintaining, organizing the laboratory works in order to enable them to be an effective teacher in the near future.
Biological science
Biological Science laboratory is well constructed and equipped with good ventilation. The Lab is arranged in such a way that it has a provision for both classroom teaching and practical work. The student teachers are trained so that they acquire the skill of demonstration and skill of drawing. The student teachers are trained in maintaining and organizing the lab so, that they become efficient science teachers. The students teachers are trained in doing many Biological Experiment like dissection, sectioning, slide identification and physiological Experiment, observation of Animal and Plant specimens etc.,
Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science has a wide range of computing resources and laboratories available to support its educational and research missions. The Computer Science Laboratory studies the logical foundations of scalable systems that are beyond the scope of traditional testing or simulation, and builds and applies efficient high-level tools for rigorous mechanical analysis.
History Lab
History labs are research and investigative learning experiences that provide teachers with the necessary information, resources, and procedures to teach a full range of historical thinking skills by taking students through a process that is methodologically similar to that employed by historians. History Lab is dedicated to inclusion, diversity, and opportunity.
Psychology Lab
Psychology lab is well furnished with good ventilation and electrified tables. Each student is made to do the experiment individually to equip them with practical knowledge, related to psychological concepts. Psychology lab consists of various experiments which are the need for today's society.

Educational Technology Laboratory
The Educational Technology laboratory is well equipped with computers with Internet facility. The lab is well furnished with Audio –visual equipments like LCD, OHP, Camera, DVD, Tape recorder etc., The students are using these facilities during Seminars, Micro-teaching sessions and for their practical works like Web site analysis and Power Point Presentations. Internet facility is highly utilized by the B.Ed., students for their research activities.
Art and Crafts
One of the objective of education is to inculcate individual, the appreciation of beauty and to develop a sense of aesthetics. A lot of emphasis is placed on fine as well as performing Arts. In our institute exposure is provided to Art and Craft, Music & Dance, Dramatics etc. In addition to painting, sketching and regular craft work, students are exposed to a variety of Media including clay and paper make. Emphasis is placed on making “the best from waste” by using old boxes, charts, Match sticks, used fax and toilet paper roll etc.
Physical Education
Physical training aims at improving the performance of sports persons. Golden rules are trained and improvement is done in physical fitness. physical education teacher coach in concern with forces and effects. We encourage our students to take part in college sports activities that would help them be mentally and physically fit and also keep them healthy. This also helps us in boosting the concentration and competitive spirits within our students that we channelize into quality learning.
